The North Port Symphony is back after a 20 month hiatus with a program that honors all things AMERICA. Join us for this celebration of music that include pieces by Gershwin, Gould, and Dvořák. Our soloist is Soprano, Johanna Fincher.

Johanna Fincher, Soprano

Johanna Fincher, soprano, has appeared as a soloist in Scotland, Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Bulgaria, and has sung with Opera Tampa, St. Petersburg Opera, The Venice Symphony, Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, Sarasota Pops, North Port Orchestra, Choral Artists of Sarasota and at various venues for the National Trust for Scotland. On the concert stage, she has sung the Faure Requiem, Orff Carmina Burana, Dubois The Seven Last Words of Christ, Vivaldi Gloria, Handel Messiah, Bach Cantata 68, Haydn Kleine Orgelmesse, Mozart Requiem, and Haydn Creation, among others. Her roles include Cinderella (The True Story of Cinderella), Clorinda (La Cenerentola), Annina (La Traviata), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Lucy (The Telephone), and Celie (Signor Deluso). She cantors mass at Epiphany Cathedral in Venice and Incarnation Catholic Church in Sarasota.
