About the North Port Symphony
The North Port Symphony was founded in 1983 by a handful of local residents who were interested in playing music for their own pleasure as well as for the community. St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church served as the Symphony’s home until November of 2001 when we moved to our current home in the Music Suite adjacent to the Performing Arts Center on the North Port High School Campus. The Symphony is composed of amateur and professional musicians. Programs include classical, contemporary and popular music. The goal of North Port Symphony is to promote charitable and educational activities in North Port, Florida. We hope you enjoy our performances featuring talented artists along with great music of all kinds in our five-concert series.
