Your Donation Matters!
Donations to the North Port Symphony benefit the programs you enjoy and at a ticket price everyone can manage. Your donation contributes to our efforts to provide more musical opportunities to everyone in the place we call home (even the part-time residents!) With your support, we can do anything. We can have the ability to connect with the 1,000 music students in North Port, we can provide new performance opportunities for our volunteer musicians, and most of all we can give the best experience to our favorite people – YOU!
Your contribution is vital to the success of our mission – To make North Port a better place to live!
The North Port Symphony is designated as a 501(c)3 organization. Your donation may be tax-deductible. Please consult your tax professional.
Our Impact

Discounted and Free Tickets
As a way to give back to our community and our volunteer musicians, the North Port Symphony provides discounted student and complimentary tickets. In 2021-2022 season, the North Symphony donated over $8,300 worth of net ticket sales to provide more arts and culture to everyone in North Port

School Instrument Replacement
In 2020 The North Port Symphony made the pledge to donate new string instruments each year to the North Port High School Orchestra program to replace student instruments that are over 20 years old so that students can have the most successful education possible. In 2022, the NPS donated 10 brand-new Franz Hoffman Violins.

Community Partnerships
The North Port Symphony has partnered with community non-profit organizations to help bring awareness to populations in need including the North Port Coalition for Homeless/Needy Children (AKA Back Pack Angels), Jewish Family and Children Services of the Suncoast, and AMVETS Post 2000

Student Scholarships
Each season, the North Port Symphony provides individual scholarships to student musicians in the orchestra for their musical education to use for instruments, music, lessons, and more. In the last 4 years, the North Port Symphony has provided $10,000 in individual scholarships. This includes our canceled 2020-2021 season for COVID-19

School Music Program Support
The North Port Symphony has provided support to local school music programs including sponsoring students to see the Chicago Symphony, providing funds for new instruments, student internships, giving performance opportunities at our concerts, and starting after-school elementary strings programs.

Hurricane Ian Relief
The North Port Symphony provided $2,500 in free tickets to the North Port students and families that were affected by Hurricane Ian in November 2022.
