Join the North Port Symphony at our Happy Semi-Quincentennial USA concert.  The program is designed to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
The journey toward this historic milestone was an opportunity to pause and reflect on our nation’s past, honor the contributions of all Americans, and look ahead toward the future. 

What better way to celebrate than through the music of one of the most popular of all symphonies, Antonin Dvorak’s New World Symphony.  The piece was composed and first premiered in New York City in 1893.  Guest artist Devon Maddox will be featured at this performance singing a selection of star-spangled favorites to our audience at large and our community’s heroes and service men and women of past and present. Devon is a multi-talented, New York based vocalist and in multi-instrumentalist.
