Sharing the Joy of Music
Our Mission is to Share the Joy of Music. Our 40th Anniversary Gala is dedicated to our mission. Not only will we celebrate 40 years of music in North Port, but we will also develop the North Port Symphony's Education and Community Outreach endeavors.
The North Port Symphony's long-term goals include:

Developing a financially accessible Strings Summer Camp for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students in North Port.

Developing an after-school program for elementary-aged North Port students to learn string instruments.

Producing performances within the North Port community at City Hall, Wellen Park, etc.

Artistic Symphony Quilt
Executed in red, black, greens and metallic golds. Musical instruments and elements are individually embroidered, pieced, and quilted in a pattern of musical notes. It is handmade by Judy Whittaker, Past President of the Peace River Quilters’ Guild. Measures 48” x 64”.

Custom Made Trombone Floor Lamp
Created for the North Port Symphony by North Port craftsman, Pat. Beffel, jr. Gleaming brass trombone with carefully selected additional brass elements. Glass table on top of the bell will hold your beverage. Peacock granite base has flecks of gold to complement the instrument. Mississippi-made lamp shade finishes the ensemble. Light bulb included.
